We all want to be rich? Yes. I see you swearing you don't want it at all. Let's be truthful because, well, I personally don't like fake.
So I was reading James chapter 2 and it talks about how we all want to be rich and how we basically drool over what they have and what we want. (May I remind you God made all of us and we are equal but throw out the idea that life is to be fair. It's crap.) BAM! Verses 2-4 "For example, suppose someone comes into your meeting dressed in fancy clothes and expensive jewelry, and another comes in who is poor and dressed in dirty clothes. If you give special attention and a good seat to the rich person, but you say to the poor one, “You can stand over there, or else sit on the floor”—well, doesn’t this discrimination show that your judgments are guided by evil motives?" Why should we treat anyone different from anyone else.
Everyone deserves compassion, love, forgiveness and peace! Why do we point out what people don't have, shouldn't we be the ones lifting them up because in verse 5 it says "Hasn't God chosen the poor in this world to be rich in faith?" So seriously who doesn't want to be rich? I'd so rather be poor and be rich in God because blessed are those to realize their need for God, for the kingdom of heaven is theirs! James so knew what he was talking about. I'm so glad God didn't make this just for one certain type of people. This is what motivates me to do outreach. I love questioning and being what God is about and being righteously angry! I absolutely love it.
